PRP Therapy | Platelet Rich Plasma

What is PRP?

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. The platelets in our blood are cells designed to heal injuries that are filled with our own natural growth factors. This makes them exponentially more effective than synthetic growth factors in rejuvenating our skin.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is also known as a “natural filler” that gives a more youthful appearance to the skin. Injecting PRP directly into the tissue allows your body to absorb and fully utilize all the benefits of your extracted platelet-rich plasma.

It improves overall skin texture, decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, and plumps hollowing areas such as tear trough grooves, cheeks, and temples.

PRP Therapy

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that encourages your body’s natural growth factors to heal tissues, encourage collagen production and stimulate new cell production. PRP Therapy can be used on its own, as an injectable, or in combination with other procedures, such as microneedling, in order to produce more dramatic, heightened results.

For many years, PRP Therapy has been used to treat conditions like tendinitis, arthritis-related pain, and joint injuries. Now more than ever, PRP Therapy is being used for skin enhancement.
